FABRIC AND PRINTING DISCLAIMER

Product Characteristics, Washing Instructions, and Sizing Information:

Our products undergo a series of human-involved processes, resulting in natural variations in color, finish, and overall appearance. The colors seen on our website are subject to the accuracy of your monitor, acknowledging potential subtle discrepancies. Please refer to the wash care instructions provided on our website under each product description. It's essential to meticulously follow these instructions for washing or dry cleaning.

Avoid directly applying deodorant, mist, or perfume to the garments, particularly those with Gold & Silver Prints. Each piece of clothing drapes and fits uniquely, determined by its cut, fabric, and style. Some will fit snugly, while others offer a more relaxed fit. Utilize our Sizing guide to select the appropriate size based on your body dimensions.

We meticulously source premium fabrics for our garments, with all prints being Hand-Blocked Printed. Due to the manual nature of this process, there may be slight variations in each print batch. The photographs are representative, aiming to closely resemble the ordered product; however, minimal color differences from the actual product may occur.

For most of our products, an "all over print" design is used, and the positioning of artwork might vary from the displayed image. Minor deviations in color from the visible product image are possible due to variations in camera and monitor perspectives.

This product features handblock printing and vegetable dyeing, which can result in slight irregularities in motifs and colors. These variations are intrinsic to handcrafted items and contribute to their uniqueness. As the fabric is dyed with natural, vegetable-based dyes, initial contact with water might lead to color rubbing or bleeding.

Gad, Reikh, and Datta Blocks: The gad is intaglio-carved, producing large background figures and a subtle zigzag border effect on the fabric. Rekh and datta blocks are carved in complete relief, with rekh blocks outlining motifs.

Care Instructions:

Gently handwash with mild detergent. Avoid soaking cotton dresses or washing them with other garments. Dry inside out in the shade. While dry cleaning is ideal, handwashing is also suitable. Caring for your clothes will ensure their longevity. Air your garments after each use to maintain freshness for multiple wearings.

Handwash your garments, refraining from using washing machines or dryers. Our cotton fabrics are either handloom woven or hand-block printed, and some shrinkage is normal.

Take care when applying fragrances to handmade clothes, as certain ingredients might affect prints. Spray lightly into the air and walk into the mist. Fabrics like Indigo, ikats, and block-printed textiles may shed excess color or bleed. Dry cleaning or careful handwashing is recommended.

Washing Guidelines:

Sort clothes by color and wash similar colors together.

Soaking:

In a half-filled bucket of cold water, add a small amount of mild detergent. Soak the garment for five minutes, avoiding prolonged soaking. Wash pre-soaked garments immediately.

Rinsing:

Gently rub soiled areas by hand; do not use solid soap bars or brushes. Rinse the garment multiple times in cold water to remove all detergent.

Starching:

A diluted liquid starch dip provides a crisp finish; avoid excessive wringing.

Drying:

Sunlight can cause color fading; dry garments in the evening or shade. Use rust-proof hangers for straight drying.

Ironing:

For block prints, embroidery, etc., iron inside out on a light setting.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Keep light-colored garments separate from dark ones. Use aromatic sachets for a pleasant scent.

Silk and Silk Blends:

Dry clean silk fabrics and store in cloth covers with scented sachets.
